Lucas Moreno

Known within the team as the Secret Weapon, the secret got out this year as Lucas Moreno has finally received some external recognition for all he has done for the Ravens.  Lucas came to us as a Sophomore two years ago and immediately caught the eye of the coaches and players.  His skill at handling the ball and maneuvering past opponents on the field is exemplary and his touch when passing the ball is unmatched.  With 5 goals and 5 assists (not including preseason), Lucas proved to be a great captain this season.

Lucas's Junior year was cut short by injury.  The Ravens felt his absence deeply in their '23-'24 campaign and welcomed his return to form this year.  His impact was felt immediately as Lucas got an assist just seven minutes into the first preseason game.  It will be impossible to find someone to replace Lucas on the field next year.  We just hope that the next midfielder can try to keep up with Lucas's shadow.  Congratulations, Lucas!
